Super Bases Loaded Overview
Super Bases Loaded is a baseball title for the Super Nintendo, part of its namesake series. It presents a selection of thirteen fictional teams for competition.
The primary single-player objective involves achieving a perfect rating, not simply winning games. A starting score of 100 is adjusted after each contest based on performance across thirteen statistical categories, such as errors and strikeouts. This final point total then determines the challenging difficulty ranking of the next opponent, with five levels possible. Completing the game requires earning a perfect 100 points against a level five team.
Gameplay utilizes a perspective from behind the pitcher for both pitching and hitting. Options include toggling the designated hitter rule and editing player attributes. Beyond standard one or two-player matches, a watch mode allows observation of a game between two computer-controlled teams.
