Super Bases Loaded 2 is a 16-bit conversion of an earlier baseball title for the NES. Its structure includes a full 162-game season, exhibition matches, and an All Star mode, with player-created teams usable in these formats.
A battery backup system maintains statistical records and enables interrupted play to be resumed. The teams are not officially licensed, instead comprising two separate fantasy leagues of seven teams each, with games played across three generic stadiums.
Technically, the game employs a DSP chip to simulate three-dimensional movement for the athletes on the field.
