Libble Rabble is a single screen arcade style game where players control two connected markers to partition the playing field. The objective involves isolating all mushrooms present on a stage by drawing boundaries around them.
Players must avoid contact between the marker arrows and roaming enemies, as this results in a life loss. Certain adversaries can sever the connecting line, temporarily breaking an enclosure. The gameplay can be considered challenging due to these active threats.
Bonus items like treasure chests can also be captured within enclosed areas, providing time extensions and other advantages. Success is achieved by strategically cutting out sections of the screen until every mushroom is secured.
