Pac-In-Time Overview
Pac-In-Time is a DOS platformer that repurposes the gameplay of Fury of the Furries with Pac-Man as the protagonist. The setting is a large island composed of eight distinct regions, including a Desert, Forest, and Castle, culminating in a final area called The Machine.
Instead of consuming dots, the primary objective involves collecting points across interconnected screens. The player navigates a non-linear structure where exits on each screen can advance or hinder progress toward the end goal. Pac-Man gains several transformation abilities, such as swimming or swinging on a rope, to overcome obstacles.
This version is distinct from a SNES release sharing the same name. The original game featured a character named Tiny on a quest to rescue a king, but here that narrative and cast are replaced by the Pac-Man license.
