Zoop is a puzzle game where colored shapes advance toward the player's own colored piece, requiring quick action to prevent them from reaching the top. The core interaction involves aiming and firing at these approaching shapes.
When the player's piece matches the color of a targeted shape, that shape is removed along with all same colored shapes behind it in that line. A collision with a differently colored shape, however, causes the player's piece to swap colors with it. This color exchange also occurs if the player's piece strikes a shape while it is in the process of clearing a chain of matching colors.
