Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S: Kurukkurin is a competitive puzzle game based on the Sailor Moon S anime series. Players select from a roster of characters, including Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Jupiter, Chibiusa, Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Pluto, each possessing unique special abilities.
The core gameplay involves two opponents managing individual 10x6 grids filled with clear heart icons. By moving a cursor, a player can change these hearts into one of four colors: red, yellow, blue, or green. The objective is to collect more treasures than the opponent by the round's end.
Treasures appear on the playing field and are collected by clearing adjacent hearts of the same color. This clearing action causes all remaining hearts and any treasures on the board to shift downward. The competition revolves around strategically creating color matches to gather these items while managing the resulting cascade of pieces.
