Kirby’s Avalanche Overview
Kirby's Avalanche presents a competitive puzzle tournament set in Dream Land. The objective is to outlast opponents by filling their playfield with colored blobs, which advances the player through successive rounds.
Its core mechanics are adapted from the Puyo Puyo series. Players arrange falling blobs, and connecting a set of the same color causes them to vanish. This elimination sends a corresponding block of blobs to the opponent's side, creating a challenging back-and-forth struggle. Victory in each match is achieved when an opponent's screen becomes too cluttered to continue.
The competition features Kirby and other series characters vying for the title of Avalanche King, culminating in a final boss encounter. The structure is a sequential tournament where each round eliminates the current opponent.
