Aerobiz Overview
Aerobiz is a business simulation where the player manages an airline as its chief executive. Success requires establishing routes to connect a set of twenty two cities, achieving specific passenger quotas, and maintaining profitability over time. The game presents a challenging long term objective with a thirty two year time limit for completion.
Management involves a range of interconnected decisions. These include acquiring and selling aircraft modeled on real world types like the Boeing 747, negotiating for route rights, and controlling budgets for advertising and infrastructure such as branch offices and hotels. External global events, including wars, natural disasters, and the Olympic Games, directly influence passenger demand and operational conditions.
Continuous monitoring of financial and operational data is necessary. The player must review detailed sales reports and city statistics to inform their strategy and avoid annual losses, which lead to failure.
