Aerobiz Overview
Aerobiz is a business simulation where the player manages an airline with the objective of establishing a global network. Success requires connecting all twenty two cities with flight routes while maintaining profitability and meeting passenger quotas. Failure to achieve a yearly profit or to fulfill the victory conditions within a thirty two year timeframe results in a loss.
Management involves a range of strategic decisions, from acquiring aircraft modeled on real world types like the Boeing 747 to negotiating for route access. Players also control investments in supporting infrastructure such as branch offices and hotels, alongside setting advertising budgets. Financial performance must be monitored through detailed sales reports and city data.
External world events introduce a challenging dynamic, as occurrences like wars, natural disasters, or the Olympic Games directly influence passenger volume. This requires constant adaptation of the airline's strategy to shifting global conditions.
