Jutei Senki Overview
Jutei Senki is a turn based strategy title exclusive to the Japanese Super Nintendo market. Its setting is an alternate history where humans, aided by tree soldiers known as Junei, are in a long standing conflict with a magical robotic race called Letum.
The player manages the human forces, with victory in a battle achieved either by eliminating all opposing units or capturing their headquarters within a set number of turns. Recruitment of new units is possible from a main building, though this is a limited resource. Each soldier possesses individual stats governing attributes like movement, attack strength, and weapon range.
Combat between units is resolved automatically, presented through animations on a dedicated screen. The game offers three primary mission types: a Campaign, a Tutorial, and an Expert mode, alongside a separate two player competitive option.
