Gameplay involves a series of athletic events designed for one or two players. These include a race while inside potato sacks, a boot throwing contest similar to a hammer toss, and a pogo stick event requiring hops over barriers. Other activities involve trying to knock an opponent off a boat, balancing stacks of pizza while walking, and using a pole to vault across a river.
The game originated in Japan with a different license, using Donald Duck characters, though the underlying mechanics were identical. The design of these events is based on the concept of Alternative World Games.
