Sanrio Carnival 2 is a falling block puzzle title for the NES. Its primary gameplay involves sliding individual candy pieces horizontally to align three identical ones in a row.
Progress is marked by obtaining collections, which requires matching six of the same candy type through these rows. Successfully gathering all collections unlocks a secondary challenge: a timed slider puzzle. This mini-game tasks the player with solving a puzzle composed of either 9 or 16 pieces within a set limit.
