Quattro Sports Overview
Quattro Sports is a multi-sport compilation for the NES, bundling four distinct athletic simulations into a single cartridge. The collection spans team sports and individual competitions, each with its own visual perspective and rule set.
Two of the offerings use an overhead view of the playing area. One is a baseball game where players can pitch different types of balls, bat, and attempt to steal bases, with the perspective shifting when at bat. The other is a soccer title that includes actions like passing, shooting, and managing set pieces such as penalties and throw-ins.
The remaining simulations provide different visual approaches. A tennis game offers play on multiple court surfaces and features a three dimensional court view, with players executing various shot types across three difficulty settings. A BMX racing game presents fifteen distinct tracks across terrains like dirt and desert, viewed from above, with each course containing its own assortment of jumps and obstacles.
