Elevator Action Overview
Elevator Action is a game where the player controls a spy navigating a multi-story building. The objective is to retrieve classified files from marked rooms and then reach a vehicle waiting at the lowest level. Opposition comes from enemy agents who patrol the floors and will attempt to eliminate the player character.
Movement through the structure is primarily handled via elevators, which the player can operate directly while inside. These platforms can also be used offensively to crush adversaries. Alternative routes include escalators, which provide a slower but potentially safer path. The environment itself can be manipulated, such as shooting out ceiling lights to temporarily darken hallways and obscure enemies.
Player actions for dispatching foes include using a firearm or a jumping kick. Enemies can employ evasive tactics like dropping to the floor, which makes them difficult to hit. The gameplay becomes more challenging if the player lingers, as an alarm triggers faster enemy movement and causes elevator controls to lag. All documents must be collected before a successful exit is possible, after which the scenario repeats in a new building.
