Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine Overview
Cybernoid is a single-player action game with an arcade style. The player controls an experimental spacefighter sent to reclaim three resource-rich asteroids that have been discovered by the Zoggians.
Gameplay involves navigating through rooms, each of which contains a time bomb that detonates if the player lingers too long. The ship begins with standard weapons but can acquire additional armaments during the mission. Players start with nine ships, and more can be obtained by reaching certain score thresholds.
The experience can be adjusted through three selectable skill levels, ranging from easy to challenging. Some releases of the game also offer a choice between a standard audio setting and an alternative mode that emphasizes sound effects over music.
