Wizardry Gaiden 3 Overview
Wizardry: The Third Episode - Scripture of the Dark is a dungeon crawler role-playing game. This entry expands the series by integrating design elements from a different core Wizardry title, moving beyond the foundations used by its direct predecessor.
The game introduces several new character options, including additional races and classes. Players can now create characters of different genders and choose from races like Faeries, Dracon, Rawulf, Mook, and Lizardman. New professions such as the Alchemist, Bard, Ranger, and Valkyrie become available, with the Alchemist class bringing its own unique spell category to the game.
Beyond the dungeon interiors, the adventure also features outdoor areas for exploration. These additions, alongside the expanded roster of character creation choices, represent a shift in the game's mechanical framework compared to earlier episodes in the Gaiden series.
