Knight Quest Overview
Knight Quest is a single player role playing game where the player character, Will, begins his journey by proving himself to the king. Upon completing an initial task, he earns the title of knight and continues his mission to cleanse the realm of monstrous and magical threats.
The gameplay involves navigating the world from an overhead view, allowing entry into various buildings such as shops and inns. These locations provide services including purchasing gear, gathering quest details, and resting. Enemy encounters are not random, as foes are visible on the main map and contact initiates a separate battle screen.
Combat is turn based and presented from a side perspective. During these encounters, players can choose from several actions including standard attacks, spellcasting, using restorative items, or attempting to flee. A specific combat system features four distinct attack techniques named Swallow, Sea Gull, Falcon, and Eagle, each with varying effectiveness against different enemy types.
