Hong Kong Overview
Hong Kong is a Game Boy adaptation of Mahjong Solitaire that alters the traditional tile layout. Instead of a pyramid, tiles are arranged in a flat tower formation.
Players must match and remove tiles, but a structural rule dictates that a topmost tile requires support from at least one tile beneath it. This introduces a challenging risk, as careless removal can cause the entire tower to collapse. The game includes configuration options for setting a timer and modifying the tower's shape.
Scoring is influenced by tile position, with tiles located deeper within the structure being worth more points. A hidden mini-game titled "Hong Kong Block," which involves a ball and paddle, is also present in this version.
