Mahou Kishi Rayearth Overview
Mahou Kishi Rayearth is a direct sequel, picking up the narrative after monsters have returned to Lacnamite. The central objective involves a quest to the Tower of Babel to restore the Sun Crystal, a task assigned to Liam Richban and his knights by King Richard III of Reinark.
The strategic gameplay from its predecessor returns, focusing on moving units across a battlefield to defeat key foes. However, the experience is now more challenging, featuring enemies with improved tactics and resilience. Progression is affected by a system where characters lost in combat are unavailable for the remainder of that battle, complicating efforts to increase their power.
Several enhancements are present, including refined visuals and a total of thirty-four scenarios. Character development allows for higher maximum levels with adjusted statistics, and a new tactical option lets players merge two units to form a single, more powerful one.
