Frisky Tom Overview
Frisky Tom is an arcade game where the player controls a plumber tasked with maintaining a pipe system against disruptive mice. The play area consists of a continuous pipe network running from a top water tank to a bottom collection tank.
Mice roam the pipes, and Tom can eliminate them for points, though some become purple and aggressively attack him. The rodents also damage the pipes, causing pieces to fall. Tom can collect these fragments and reattach them to restore the water flow. Successfully repairing the entire pipe allows water to reach the collection tank for a point bonus at the level's end.
Later stages introduce a more challenging threat where mice plant and light a bomb at the upper tank. Tom can temporarily delay the explosion by falling past the lit fuse to extinguish it with his arms. If he stalls it long enough, the level completes once the upper tank empties. While the pipe layout remains identical across levels, the mice increase in speed, number, and aggression.
