Livingstone I Presume? is a DOS adventure that shares its technical foundation with another title, Goody. Its premise is loosely derived from the historical 19th-century African expedition where Henry Morton Stanley sought David Livingstone.
Despite this initial inspiration, the gameplay diverges into a platform-based format. The player has access to several tools from the start, including three distinct weapons and a pole. The game world is presented through a map that is noted for being more intricate than that of its technological counterpart.
