Lethal Weapon is a DOS game adaptation of the film series, casting the player as either detectives Martin Riggs or Roger Murtaugh. These objectives include intercepting a drug money transfer at the docks, confronting terrorists in the subway system, and disarming a bomb placed in a shopping mall. Later operations require infiltrating an office building to rescue a hostage named Leo Getz, culminating in a final mission to stop a corrupt former police sergeant supplying specialized ammunition to criminals.
