Galactix is a DOS game where the player operates an advanced spacecraft to protect Earth. The primary threat comes from an alien force known as the Xidus fleet.
The player's ship is armed with a primary weapon that does not require ammunition management. Additional offensive capabilities include missiles and bombs. During combat, a retractable claw can be deployed to collect upgrades for the vessel.
