Comet Busters! Overview
Comet Busters is a multiplayer-capable arcade game where players shoot at celestial debris and hostile spacecraft. The core objective involves clearing each stage of all comet fragments to progress.
Support exists for various audio hardware, from basic PC speakers to sound cards, with MIDI music available as an option. This music can be set to play in a random order.
Up to four participants can join, either locally on one machine or through network and direct cable connections. A dedicated tournament mode pits players against each other, with configurable rules for environmental hazards. Several special powers are at the player's disposal, including defensive shields, a teleportation function, and an offensive disrupter. A cloaking ability is provided specifically for use in competitive matches.
