Zombies Ate My Neighbors Overview
Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a game where players control one of two protagonists, Zeke or Julia, to combat a variety of monstrous enemies. These foes include zombies, vampires, and mummies, among others. The action unfolds across more than fifty standard levels, with additional secret stages also present.
The primary objectives involve both surviving these levels and rescuing a set number of neighbors trapped within each one. Successfully saving all required neighbors opens an exit, allowing progression. Players utilize an arsenal of unconventional weapons, such as bazookas and water guns, to defeat enemies and confront large bosses.
Level environments are diverse, ranging from everyday locations like shopping malls and grocery stores to beaches and sports fields. A cooperative two-player mode is supported. While the enemies and scenarios draw from horror themes, the overall presentation incorporates humorous elements.
