Syvalion Overview

Syvalion is a shoot 'em up where the player pilots a multi-segment dragon-shaped spacecraft. This vessel navigates freely in all directions, confronting robotic enemies, other ships, and larger boss units.
Offensive capability is managed by a fuel system; firing weapons consumes fuel, while movement replenishes it. The ship's segmented body also functions as a health indicator, with each section changing color upon taking damage. Players must additionally avoid stationary, indestructible obstacles during combat.
Several distinct modes are offered. These include a tutorial for learning mechanics, a primary story campaign, and a timed score attack challenge. The title was later included in the PlayStation 2 compilation Taito Legends 2.
