Super Chase: Criminal Termination Overview
Super Chase: Criminal Termination builds upon its predecessor's core pursuit gameplay, where the player's objective is to intercept a target vehicle involved in criminal activity. The driving experience is made more challenging by aggressive opposition, including motorcycles that employ projectile weapons and oncoming traffic that can cause dramatic collisions.
Player progression is tracked through a dedicated damage indicator, which is depleted by direct attacks from the fleeing criminals rather than incidental contact with other vehicles. These targets exhibit varied offensive tactics; some may fire upon close approach, while others, like the fourth criminal, use long-range weapons such as missiles. A round concludes if this personal damage meter is emptied or if the time limit expires.
Upon successfully completing a stage, a statistics screen evaluates performance based on remaining time, inflicted damage, and turbo usage, awarding points accordingly. The game incorporates a configurable speedometer and presents narrative elements between rounds, framing the high-speed pursuits.
