Full Throttle: All-American Racing is a vehicular competition game set across varied American terrain. Participants select from a roster of six drivers, each briefly characterized, such as an ex-convict, a female competitor, and an African-American racer. Events are organized into single weekends or extended championships, with the option to compete in land-based motorcycle races, water-based boat races, or both.
Gameplay involves aggressive tactics common to the genre, where riders can physically strike opponents. Vehicle performance can be incrementally improved between races through the acquisition of upgrades, including enhanced engines, tires, and nitrous oxide systems.
