Kamen Rider SD: Shutsugeki!! Rider Machine is a combat racing title featuring the ten Showa-era Kamen Riders. Players control a different Rider in each episode, each possessing a unique special attack, as they face waves of Shocker soldiers on various vehicles.
The core gameplay involves maneuvering a motorcycle to attack opposing riders, primarily through close-range punches, while avoiding their attempts to ram or shoot. Progression is structured into episodes, each narrated by Tachibana and consisting of six vehicle combat stages followed by a final boss encounter.
After certain levels, the player's Rider can be repaired and granted a temporary enhancement, chosen from options like a machine gun, brief invincibility, or increased speed. This provides intermittent strategic choices within the otherwise straightforward action.
