Gun Force: Battle Fire Engulfed Terror Island is a side-scrolling action title where the player, as a soldier, must clear an island of hostile forces. The core objective is to advance through stages, eliminating all opposition to reach a final confrontation.
Combat involves shooting in multiple directions, including straight, upward, and diagonal angles. While a standard firearm with unlimited ammunition is the default, temporary power-ups like flamethrowers or laser guns can be found, though their ammunition is finite.
