Dragon View Overview
Dragon View is an action role-playing game that serves as a sequel to Drakkhen. The protagonist, Alex, is drawn from a peaceful life when his fiancée is abducted, setting him on a journey that reveals a larger conspiracy.
Gameplay shifts between two primary perspectives. Exploration across the broader world occurs in a first-person, three-dimensional view, while specific locations like towns and dungeons are presented as side-scrolling environments. In these areas, combat involves using a sword and other acquired weapons against enemies.
Character progression is achieved through gaining experience from defeated foes, which increases core attributes like strength and defense. Health and magical capacity, however, are expanded by locating specific items throughout the world. Players can also find equipment such as magical rings and upgrades for weapons.
