David Crane's Amazing Tennis Overview

Alt. Names: アメージングテニス

"David Crane's Amazing Tennis" is a tennis simulation for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It offers both single exhibition matches and a larger tournament structure for extended play.

Matches can be contested on three distinct court surfaces: grass, hard, or clay. Before playing, participants can select a fictional athlete to control, with the option to set their dominant hand as either left or right. The roster includes sixteen different competitors, whose skill levels vary, making higher-ranked opponents a challenging proposition.

On the court, gameplay incorporates a range of strategic shots. Players have access to topspin, slices, drop shots, volleys, lobs, and overhead smashes. Serving involves a choice between hard and soft deliveries to disrupt an opponent's timing. A visual perspective shift occurs during play, as the character currently serving is positioned closer to the screen. The game carries an endorsement from the Footlocker brand.
