Bahamut Lagoon Overview
Bahamut Lagoon is a tactical role-playing game where the player manages multiple character parties and commands dragons during combat. The setting involves the kingdom of Kahna, which has been conquered by Emperor Sauzer, resulting in the king's death and the capture of the princess. A knight, who leads the Dragon Squad and had pledged to protect the princess, embarks on a mission with allies and dragons to liberate the kingdom, with a particular hope resting on awakening a powerful dragon named Bahamut.
Battles employ a hybrid system, shifting between a top-down strategic map and a side-view perspective common to many Japanese role-playing games. The player's tactical choices extend beyond direct unit commands, as environmental manipulation, such as igniting a forest to block enemy advancement, can influence the outcome of engagements.
