Pro Yakyū Super League '91 Overview
Pro Yakyū Super League '91 is a baseball simulation for the Sega Genesis, building directly upon the mechanics of its predecessor, which was known internationally as Tommy Lasorda Baseball. The core gameplay experience remains consistent, offering several modes for play including exhibition matches, a full pennant race, and an all-star event.
A significant change from the earlier title is the inclusion of an official NPB license. This provides access to all twelve professional teams from Japan's Central and Pacific Leagues, accurately representing their rosters and player statistics from the 1991 season. A separate international edition, later released as Sports Talk Baseball, incorporated audio commentary and replaced the NPB teams with MLB franchises.
