Whomp 'Em Overview
Whomp 'Em is a side scrolling action platformer featuring a protagonist named Soaring Eagle. His objective is to gather magical totems for his pouch, each held by a distinct boss.
The gameplay involves navigating various environments, using a spear for offense and defense. This weapon allows for forward jabs and can also be thrust upward or downward during jumps, providing protection from aerial threats.
Following an initial stage without a boss, the player can select from six unique lands to tackle in any order. These areas, which include fiery, icy, aquatic, and forested settings, culminate in a challenging encounter with a guardian. After securing all six totems and their associated powers, the final challenge takes place in a cloud realm against a more formidable foe.
