Wally Bear and the NO! Gang Overview
Wally Bear and the NO! Gang is a side scrolling platformer with an educational purpose, aiming to inform players about risks associated with substance use and negative peer influences. The protagonist, Wally Bear, navigates urban environments on a skateboard to locate his friends for a gathering at his family home.
Gameplay involves moving through seven levels while evading or confronting various threats. These include aggressive animals like pigeons and dogs, as well as characters that promote harmful behaviors. A time constraint in the form of a curfew adds a challenging layer to the objective. Players can mostly avoid enemies, though Wally has the ability to strike them with his skateboard.
Throughout the adventure, only two power up items are available to collect. The core loop combines platforming navigation with a constant race against the clock to complete the rescue mission.
