Times of Lore Overview
Times of Lore is an action game incorporating role-playing elements, set in the Kingdom of Albereth. The kingdom faces threats after its wounded king disappeared while seeking recovery.
Players control a hero, selectable from warrior archetypes like a barbarian, knight, or valkyrie, who journeys across diverse landscapes including forests, towns, and dungeons. The core objective involves aiding the realm and locating special Artifacts to restore its former strength.
Gameplay unfolds in real-time with a day and night cycle. Progression is tied to completing tasks, which advances the narrative and grants access to more powerful weaponry. Basic items such as health and magic potions can be collected throughout the world. Interaction with other characters is managed through a system of key phrases.
Combat encounters feature a limited roster of enemy types, such as skeletons, orcs, and rogues, which appear in different variations.
