Stealth ATF Overview
Stealth ATF is a flight simulator for the NES where the player operates an F-117A Nighthawk. Missions require destroying a predetermined number of aerial targets using an unlimited cannon and a limited supply of missiles. The experience is challenging, as failing a landing after completing objectives forces a mission restart.
Gameplay unfolds from a cockpit view with free movement over an endless terrain. Enemy aircraft reappear on radar when they leave its range, and missions take place across varied global locations. A unique stealth mode, usable once per mission, can help evade incoming missiles. Successful mission completion unlocks a bonus round for additional target practice.
The game supports both single-player and a two-player turn-based mode. A second participant can also assume control of the aircraft nearest the radar's center during play. Options exist to disable the in-flight music, leaving only the sounds of the aircraft.
