Slalom Overview
Slalom is a timed skiing game where the player must navigate a series of twenty four downhill courses. Progress is dependent on completing each trail within the allotted time.
Various obstacles populate the slopes, including other skiers, trees, snowmen, and sleds. Colliding with any of these hazards will result in a crash that slows the player down. The terrain itself also features moguls that can impede progress.
Correctly passing through the slalom flags positioned along the course is essential for maintaining speed. Failing to ski on the proper side of a flag forces the skier into a snowplow, causing a momentary but costly loss of momentum. To achieve the best times and advance, the player must avoid all obstacles and pass every flag correctly, making the gameplay challenging.
