Racket Attack is a tennis simulation for the NES where players can compete in singles matches. The game offers a choice between men's and women's tournaments, with eight distinct athletes available in each category, each possessing unique attributes.
Matches follow standard tennis rules, requiring victory in two out of three sets. Before playing, participants select from three different court surfaces: hard, clay, or grass.
Two primary modes structure the experience. One involves progressing through a national tournament against increasingly skilled opponents, a challenging path to a championship. The other mode facilitates direct competition between two human players.
