MetalMech: Man & Machine Overview
Metal Mech - Man & Machine is a game where the player alternates between controlling a pilot and a large robotic vehicle. The mech offers superior protection but its size prevents it from navigating certain environmental features like ladders, forcing the pilot to proceed on foot at times.
Gameplay involves traversing levels from left to right, engaging enemies that appear dynamically. The player can attack in most directions, though a downward fire option is not available. Scattered throughout the stages are containers hiding power-ups, which are essential for progression.
The core objective is to successfully navigate through each area, overcoming its hostile inhabitants, to advance to the next stage. This creates a challenging dynamic as the player must strategically switch between the two forms to overcome different obstacles.
