Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (Enhanced) is an updated release of a geography based detective game. Players assume the role of a novice investigator tasked with recovering stolen cultural artifacts from a group of thieves.
Progress is structured around assignments, each providing clues and a set deadline for the thief's capture. Success depends on applying knowledge of world geography to interpret these clues and determine travel destinations.
This version offers improved audiovisual presentation over the original and includes expanded control options, such as joystick support for compatible computer systems.
