Loopz Overview
Loopz is a puzzle game focused on constructing closed shapes from various tile pieces. Players arrange randomly provided segments on a grid, rotating them as needed to form complete loops. The available pieces range from basic lines and corners to more complex curved shapes of different sizes.
Three distinct modes alter the core objective. One is a freestyle mode where points increase with loop size and complexity. Another employs a scoring system with bonus multipliers, where reaching certain totals unlocks additional boards. A third mode presents a pre-assembled loop, then removes pieces, requiring players to correctly replace them from memory as they reappear, blending logic with recall.
Gameplay involves strategic placement, as unused pieces remain on the board after a loop is finished. This encourages planning for multiple potential loops, since the order of upcoming pieces is unknown. The game supports two-player competition in two of its three modes.
