Krusty's Super Fun House is a puzzle-platform game based on The Simpsons. The core problem is an infestation of rats within Krusty's establishment, which the player must resolve by guiding the creatures to extermination machines.
These machines are operated by various characters from the series. The rats move autonomously in a single direction, changing course only when encountering a barrier, requiring the player to manipulate the environment to steer them. Krusty himself cannot interact with the rodents directly.
Gameplay involves using tools like blocks, fans, pipes, and trampolines to alter paths. Krusty can also throw pies to remove enemies or destroy certain blocks, creating new passages. The player must work within the level's layout and avoid hazards while arranging these elements.
Successfully clearing every rat from a stage is mandatory to advance. The puzzles become more challenging over time, with larger areas and additional obstacles requiring both forethought and trial-and-error to solve, as a poor placement can lead to failure.
