Castlequest Overview
Castle Excellent is a puzzle and platform game where the player directs a prince through a large castle to rescue a princess. The environment consists of one hundred distinct rooms, each presenting its own set of obstacles.
Progress requires navigating past various hazards, including enemy knights and other figures, while gathering useful objects. Collected keys are color-coded and must match specific doors to allow passage. Other items, such as rings and gold bars, are also found throughout the castle.
This title is a sequel to The Castle, featuring completely redesigned rooms with new challenges, though the fundamental gameplay remains unchanged. The experience is built around solving a series of self-contained spatial puzzles, making it challenging.
