Baltron Overview

Baltron is a horizontal scrolling shooter set in the year 2999. The player pilots the Gistorias, Earth's fastest starship, to stop the Bismark Empire from completing a super weapon of the same name on the planet Star Lenion.
Ship management is a key element, requiring players to monitor and replenish a fuel gauge by collecting containers. The Gistorias is equipped with a laser and bombs for air-to-ground attacks, and it can deploy a screen-clearing flash bomb. Maneuverability includes changing speed, moving in both directions, and using a warp boost to escape danger.
The objective is to destroy the enemy base before the Baltron weapon becomes operational, making the mission challenging due to this time pressure and resource management.
