Artelius Overview
Artelius is an action RPG where players control a cyborg navigating space from a top-down perspective. The setting involves a dimension fractured into isolated asteroid fields by a machine called Galax, created by the evil ruler Sarbelor.
Gameplay involves traveling between distinct space sectors using warp points, with asteroid chains acting as barriers. Enemy encounters occur randomly on the map, triggering a shift to a first-person combat screen. In battle, players aim a cross-hair and fire at enemies, with special attacks consuming weapon points.
The cyborg protagonist was built by the scientist Dr. Rado with the objective of defeating Sarbelor. Victory in combat yields experience points, which allow the character to advance in level and increase in strength.
