WCW: World Championship Wrestling Overview
WCW World Championship Wrestling presents an isometric interpretation of National Wrestling Alliance matches. The roster consists of twelve licensed competitors, such as Sting, Rick Flair, and the Road Warriors, each possessing distinct special maneuvers and a rope toss ability.
Before a bout, participants configure their control scheme by selecting four attacks from a set of eight to map to the directional pad. These chosen moves, along with the rope toss, constitute the available offensive options during the match. Wrestlers navigate the ring in four directions, can utilize the turnbuckles, and may attempt to throw an opponent to the floor, where a twenty-second count leads to disqualification.
Match types include solo and tag-team contests for one or two players. A wrestler's most powerful technique, a finishing move, can only be executed from the center of the ring when the opponent's stamina is sufficiently depleted.
