All-Pro Basketball Overview
All Pro Basketball presents a five on five simulation using a half court perspective. Players select from eight professional teams, each with distinct advantages and disadvantages, such as the New York Slicks or San Francisco Bayriders.
Multiple modes are available, including a single exhibition match against another person or observing computer controlled teams. A league mode tasks the player with winning a championship, which can be pursued alone or cooperatively with a second player against CPU opponents.
Matches start with a jump ball and maintain a continuous pace. Offensive control includes running, passing, and attempting various shots like three pointers and slam dunks. Defensive actions involve stealing the ball and securing rebounds.
The simulation incorporates elements like player fatigue and foul calls, requiring strategic substitutions to rest team members when their condition deteriorates.
