8 Eyes Overview
8 Eyes is a side scrolling action adventure title where the player controls a character named Orin. His primary weapon is a sword, though its range is somewhat limited.
The game's structure involves traveling to eight distinct lands, each containing a house with a guardian to defeat. Success in these encounters rewards the player with a jewel, referred to as an eye.
A key feature is the inclusion of a falcon companion, which can be directed to attack foes or activate switches from a distance. This falcon represents a more potent tactical option than Orin's own sword. Control of both characters is handled by a single player in the standard mode.
An alternative cooperative mode is available, where a second player assumes direct control of the falcon. This mode grants the bird enhanced flight capabilities.
